About Us
The Newport News Greek Festival began in 1967 and has grown into one of the region's elaborate and popular ethnic celebrations.
This year's festival is expected to draw 15,000 to experience spectacular Greek arts and crafts, terrific food and lively entertainment.
Some of the finest chefs in Hampton Roads are among the 200+ families of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Our Greek cuisine holds one thing true. We do not compromise on ingredients, as the flavor MUST be there. All the chefs for the Festival prepare their specialties as their families did before them. "Like Mama did" is the answer given by many when asked how they learned.
