Entertainment Schedule - Newport News Greek Festival      OPA !
Hellenic Youth Dancers of Newport News:  Formally organized in 1990, the Hellenic Youth Dancers now encompass four award-winning groups: the Hope, Joy, Goya, and Enosi groups. Our children begin dance training at the age of 5; competition begins at the age of 8 through young adulthood.

Saturday: 12:00 (GOYA), 1:00 (5-10 yr, 2 groups),
2:00 (11-12 yr), 5:15 (GOYA), 6:30 (5-12 yr, 3 groups),
8:00 (GOYA), 8:15 (Enosis)
Sunday: 12:30 (5-10 yr, 2 groups), 1:30 (11-12 yr),
2:30 (GOYA), 3:30 (11-12 yr), 4:30 (GOYA-finale)

Choir Concert
: Sunday, 3:00 pm
The 20 member choir of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, conducted by Renee Root, will perform a short program on Sunday, at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the church. The program will include Liturgical music and folksongs by prominent Greek composers including Theodore Bogdanos, Tikey Zes and Frank Desby. Admission is free and open to the public.

Music - The "Golden Sounds":
 from Washington, D.C.
Performing Thursday through Saturday night, starting at 5:30 pm each day. Join in on the dancing. Opa!

Tours of the Church Learn about the Orthodox Christian Church during tours of the Sanctuary. Respect for the Sanctuary should be observed at all times. No food or drinks are allowed.
Tours at: 1:00, 4:00, and 7:00 pm each day
